Top-Down Costing

Analyse cost data at a variety of levels. Cost data can be analysed by patient diagnosis or procedure, patient classification, cost centre (such as ward or operating theatre), department or specialty. Since UserCost costs the individual resources consumed by patients, data can be aggregated using a wide variety of selection / reporting parameters.


Analyse the cost of resources consumed by patients for each day of stay (nursing, medical, operating theatre, pharmacy, medical supplies, pathology, imaging, and so on).

Monitoring & Benchmarks

Our AR-DRG Grouper software "DrGroup", enables the information manager within the hospital to group ICD9 and ICD10 patient morbidity data in accordance with the specified versions of the AR-DRG classification. Three modes of operation are available, these are outlined below...


The interactive grouper provides the hospital's ICD9/ICD10 coder with a facility to enter codes and demographic fields directly into a Windows database and then get instantaneous feedback as to the appropriate DRG and grouper status information.


The batch grouper will allow you to group data exported from your hospital patient information system.


In server mode, technical staff can develop an interface to the DrGroup grouper engine tailored to hospital requirements. Examples in the form of program executables, source code and documentation are provided to assist in this process.
